Sunday = Lazy

Recently I’ve been pretty analytical with my peers at school. I already knew my first quarter would consist of having fresh-faced-attention-deficit-disordered-riddled kids straight out of high school. And I am still okay with that. I guess I find myself figuring out why they act a certain way. I find that most culinary and game design students are the two extra breeds at this school. Naturally, I would never have an advanced culinary student in any of my classes. But I do have two new ones in my English class and part of me is thinking they’re not even serious. One other thing I didn’t quite factor in is, in attending the Orange County campus there seems to be an increasingly large amount of new students who are disconcerned with school but their parents are fronting the bill. I have nothing against parents fronting their kids education but my problem is they pick some subject they have no clue about and just waste time and money. Not that my school is some kind of prestigious school but for the most part, they’ll do the same to poorly performing students as with any other college (with a few exceptions of course.) I guess this leads me to thanking myself for being a slack ass in terms of trudging right into college immediately after high school because everyone else was doing it and it was expected.

I’ve added a music player to the sidebar now for some audio pleasure; taking advantage of the benefits of my new host (500GB of space and unlimited bandwidth!) Joe was talking about bringing Torso and Pants back, which was kind of exciting. Torso and Pants was kind of a three panel comic we came up with a long time ago with really dry humor. Although webcomics are pretty much all the rage now anyway, I think it’ll be fun to get back into that.

Ugh, I need to get started on some homework for my Fundementals of Design class.
