C O N V E R G E

Good news, site is finally up and running along with the blog. Of course, I had to change hosts and change my nameservers, reinstall wordpress, import my wordpress entires (instead of my mysql database, which would’ve been easier) and to remember which plugins I used and edited. After making some tweaks and adding sifr to some parts, its all done! Yay. Woo. Whatever.

Also my bike is done, has been done since the end of January.

That’s pretty much how it was when it was ready to ride. It’s gone a few changes already though, front brake, black bar tape, nickel chain and new pedals. If you want to nerd out the components are:

Frame: 53cm Mercier Kilo TT in Wheat
Cranks, Pedals and Bottom Bracket: Sugino Messenger Cranks 165mm, MKS RX-1 Racing pedals, Sugino Messenger Bottom Bracket 68x103mm
Chainring and Cog: Sugino Messenger 44T chainring with Soma 16T cog.
Wheels and Hubs: Both Weinmann DP18 with Formula hubs, front is machined, rear is not. Soma Everwear in the back and a Continental something in the front.
Saddle and seatpost: Brook’s B17 with a Kalloy seatpost.
Handlebar, Stem and Headset: Nitto pearl (90mm) and Nitto Chromoly B123 Track drops (about 41cm), Shimano 105 threaded headset.
Misc: Miche pista chain, Soma double steel toeclips with navy blue Soma Space Straps, White CHAMP track grips, Tektro brake set.

Bad news, I lost my wallet last night on a bike ride. Didn’t find out I lost it until a late stop on the ride at Donut Man and could not buy any donuts. It pretty much ha everything in there. I tried driving along side the route we took back to La Verne but was so tired and whatever, I eventually forgot the route we took and gave up. Most of the things I can get back. But my social security card was in there (because I am stupid and I usually forget it, so I kept the card in there) among other things. Hopefully someone nice will mail it back to me. There’s at least $125 worth of stuff they could take, since I had $25 and a $100 gift card/credit card thing I got from xmas. I’m just a little worried about identity theft for the time being. Also my unemployment check was in there, which I was supposed to cash that day but forgot… sigh. I can get ahold of EDD I think though and cancel the check and have them send another. I also can get copies of my vision perscriptions (which I also kept in my wallet).

I really should’ve been doing homework, but I spent all day messing around with my site and the blog and trying to figure out how to recover contents from my wallet.
