Oh goddamn you Holidays

As the holiday season reaches near, it brings me both one joy and one hate. Joys, being cold weather is nice, but here in California it mainly means overcast and or rain. Clint called me from Boston the other day while on his trip. He said he was going to the Miracle of Science Bar & Grill to see the woman whom I left my number to on a check stub. I don’t even think I got her name. Bad thing about the holidays is they’re usually spent alone, in fact for like five years running I’ve spent them alone. I recall in Boston, Christmas was like so depressing it was awesome. It was snowing and I’m in my small cold ass room in a two bedroom flat. I miss Boston honestly. I’m very tempted to just buy a ticket to fly out there, hang out with Clint; talk about the women we love and our lives that we hate. Then when it hits late November take a five hour bus to New York and see Sabrepulse at Blipfest 2007. Alas, I doubt I could seeing as work is a bit busy and buying plane tickets in late November usually cost more than I should be spending (Although I just blew five bills on a new video card – 8800 GTS 640mb zomg!)

The snow, the scarves and the dream that eventually I won’t be wishing I was somewhere else.
